Games
Living in England the Pokemon games I can actually get my hands on are very limited. Release dates change so often and I was all ready to go buy Snap when I found out it’s been delayed till October and that Yellow is now out in October and NOT June, Pinball is now out in July NOT February. The only consolation is Pokemon Stadium should be out on the 31st of March presuming there are no further delays. It’s supposed to be great and I’ve been waiting long enough. We finally got Red and Blue on October 1st last year THREE years after Japan. Gold and Silver are likely to be even further away. There are also extra games like the Game Boy trading card game and some Pokemon puzzler to come.

Red and Blue
In this Game Boy game you play as Ash Ketchum training to become the world’s greatest Pokemon master. At the start of the game you choose you’re first pokemon: Bulbasaur-grass Charmander-fire or Squirtle-water each has an advantage over a certain type of Pokemon and a weakness e.g  Rock Pokemon like Geodude are strong against Electric and Fire Pokemon but weak against water Pokemon like Squirtle. You have to battle eight Gym leaders to get badges which gain you entry to the Pokemon Leauge where you face the Elite Four.
On you’re journey you collect Pokemon ( 151- Mew the 151st is only available to the people who downloaded it at one of the Nintendo Roadshows) As you progress in you’re game Pokemon evolve and can be traded between friends or characters in the game this is the only way to get all 150 (e.g there is only ONE Bulbasaur Charmander and Squirtle in the game so to record an entry in the Pokedex each person needs a different one then trade to record it.)

Pokemon Stadium
Finally got hold of this on 7.4.00 after months of delays.

Pokemon Yellow
